The new year started with Ted Kozel as President, Samir Dossal as V.P., Secy. Glen Waugh, Treasurer Jag Awatramani, Dan Johnstone in Community Service, Hira Joshi in Vocational Service and Andy Merchant in International Service.

The Turnover Night was held in the garden of Shelagh and Bill Harris and the weather was fine for a fun event. We sent two students, twin daughters of one of our members, to the RYLA Camp and they gave an enthusiastic report to the Club on their experiences. The Club again organized the Richmond Hill Terry Fox Run in September and many members attended the Foundation Walk in Campbellford which raised $217,00 for the Foundation. The Club's contribution was close to $100 per member.

The Club had another successful TV Auction raising over $100,000 for fifteen different charities and about $12,000 for the Club Service Account.

The Club donated to a number of causes including the York Central Hospital, the Crosby Park project, ( making a play area accessible to the physically handicapped) Camp Enterprise, and the usual three Foster Plan Children.

In April the Club presented an African Cultural Night in aid of an African Water for Humanity Project. This was a joint project with the Aurora, Beeton, Bradford, Markham, and Newmarket Clubs to install wells in Ghana. The night was a great success rasing over $30,000 and by the time various grants are applied should be a tremendous help for a part of the world with serious water problems.

Altogether another good year for the Club with the membership approaching 40.    .
