Laura Parsons from DeafBlind Ontario Foundation, https://deafblindontario.com/, was our guest speaker at our last Zoom club meeting. It is really staggering that 1% of the Canadian population qualifies as deafblind. The DeafBlind Ontario Foundation is involved with supporting the the deafblind with valuable "intervenor" support staff. Laura, a long time professional fundraiser also provided some pointers on how to be effective at fundraising during these times of Covid. Thank you Laura!
