Tomorrow, 400 York Region students will descend on the Oak Ridges Corridor Park on to plant 1700 trees and shrubs. 2016 will be the 8th Year for this project sponsored by Richmond Hill Rotary, Garden and Horticultural Society and funded by TD Friends of the Environment, with TRCA and Town of Richmond Hill Urban Forestry. Neighbors and the public are invited to visit the planting on Thursday May 12, between 10 am and 3 pm. There will be a Raptor Show too (birds, not basketball) starting at 11:15am.
 
 
The planting site is just east of Bond Lake Public School and little William Bond Park on Old Colony Road east of Yonge St.
