Becoming a Member of the Richmond Hill Rotary Club
Membership in a Rotary club is an opportunity extended to individuals who are committed to serving their local community while contributing to Rotary's global mission of service. Rotary members are leaders, professionals, and community-minded individuals who share a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Basic Steps to Becoming a Markham Sunrise Rotary Member
- Attend a Club Meeting or Event
Get to know our members, learn about Rotary, and experience our fellowship and service culture firsthand. - Learn About Rotary and Our Club
Understand Rotary's values, programs, and areas of focus, as well as the projects and initiatives supported by the Richmond Hill Rotary Club. - Participate in Club Activities
Join members at community service projects, fundraising events, and social gatherings to gain a better understanding of our commitment to service. - Express Your Interest in Membership
Speak with a club member or club leader about your desire to become a member and how you can contribute to the club. - Complete the Membership Process
Prospective members may be asked to attend additional meetings, participate in club activities, and complete any required membership forms. - Board Review and Approval
Membership applications are reviewed by the Club Board to ensure a good fit with the values and objectives of Rotary. - Induction as a Rotary Member
Once approved, you will be formally welcomed and inducted into the Richmond Hill Rotary Club and become part of Rotary International's global network of volunteers and leaders.
